Patty Walker
Patty Walker, age 75, of Breckenridge, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025. A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, October 13, at Morehart Mortuary.
Patricia Ann Walker was born April 3, 1950, in Graham, Texas, to parents, James Allen Walker and Ruby Laverne McBrayer Walker. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1968. Patty then went on to further her education at Cisco Junior College. She worked at Pecan Valley MHMR in Breckenridge for several years and then went to work for the Texas Health and Human Services office for many years. In March of 2012, Patty retired but soon took the secretary position at First Methodist Church, where she was also a proud and active member. She served the church as the secretary for several years until she fully retired in late 2023.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Ruby Walker; one sister-in-law, Gayla Walker; and one great-nephew, Awetrey Erwin.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tricia Reed and husband Alan and Shelley Jackson and husband Tye; one brother, Jim Walker and wife Lori; two granddaughters, Shelby Lipps-Jackson and Alana Reed; one nephew, Coby Walker and wife Megan; one niece, Amy Erwin and husband Aaron; and several great-nieces and -nephew, Brenham Walker, Madi Rose Walker, Laney Dundon, Maddy Erwin, and Ellie Thornbrue.
