Nedra Riley
Nedra Riley, age 92, of Breckenridge, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 9, at 10:00 a.m. at Harpersville Cemetery with Pastor Dannie Lee officiating.
Born Nedra Allegra Williams on August 27, 1933, in Comanche, Texas, to Arlie Clifford and Hilda Jane Roberson Williams. Nedra graduated from Breckenridge High. Nedra lived most of her life in Breckenridge, where she worked as a salesclerk to help support her family. She was an active church member and loved her Lord. She was also a member of the Elks Lodge. Nedra was a kind soul with many friends.
Nedra married Bobby Joe Riley on January 22, 1952, in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was “mom” to three and “Nana” to five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Nedra is survived by her daughter, Chris Harris of Breckenridge; son, Rick Riley of Breckenridge; sister, Sandra Williams Dillingham of Graham; grandsons, Michael Riley of Breckenridge and Randy Riley of Granbury; granddaughters Roxanna Riley of Granbury and Joy Luther of Breckenridge; seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law Judy Williams of Breckenridge; and many cousins.
Nedra was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Riley; parents, Arlie Clifford and Hilda Jane Roberson Williams; son Robert Mark Riley; brother John Clifford Williams; grandson Steven Harris, Jr; brother and sister-in-law Tommy Lee and Alice Faye Riley; and brother-in-law Keith Dillingham.
In lieu of flowers, Nedra has requested that memorials be made to Meals on Wheels, Floyd Watts Memorial scholarship fund at the Elks, or your church, which can be left at Melton-Kitchens Funeral home, and condolences can be made at meltonkitchens.com.
