Carol Ann Thomas
Carol Thomas, 65, of Breckenridge, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 25, in the Necessity Cemetery with Markell Alexander officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at Morehart Mortuary.
Carol Ann Caton was born January 23, 1960, to Drue Caton and Sybil Ann Caudell Caton in Breckenridge, Texas. On July 29, 1981, she married John David Thomas in Breckenridge. Carol Ann worked as a housekeeper and in nursing homes for years. She was a hard worker and the best friend. Carol loved spending time with her family and her dog, BamBam. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Dawn Koger and husband Bryan; seven grandchildren, Donovan Mendez, Damion Mendez, De’Jean Mendez, Destiny Jamison, Ariel Moser, Daja Koger, and Bryan Koger, Jr.; one great-granddaughter, Briar Dawn Mendez; sister-in-law, Derinda Cozart; and her friend and son-in-law’s mother, Sherra Moser.
