John Matthew Boyd, 71, of Breckenridge, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025. His wishes were to be cremated, and no service is planned for now. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

John Matthew Boyd was born October 26, 1953, in Dallas, Texas, to John E. Boyd and Virginia Simon Boyd. He was a printer by trade and is survived by his son, Shane Boyd of Florida; three sisters, Elaine Goswick of Breckenridge, Vickie Yarbrough of Lenard, Texas, and Glenda Hassler of Isanti, Minnesota; and numerous nieces and nephews.
