Breckenridge High School Principal Paul Armstrong announced the 2025 valedictorian and salutatorian — Antley Rodgers and Timothy Newell, respectively — to the crowd gathered in Bailey Auditorium for the annual awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 13.

Rodgers and Newell were presented with medals and scholarships for their achievements. In all, there were 119 scholarships presented to 36 students for $106,750, Armstrong said.  Additionally, the Buckaroo Awards for Academic Excellence were presented, and those students who qualified for state competitions this year were honored.
