Douglas Gordon Robinson Jr., 73, was reunited with the love of his life on Thursday, May 8, 2025. His memorial service at Melton-Kitchens Chapel of Memories will be held on Wednesday, May 14, beginning at 1 p.m. with Russell Blue officiating.

Doug was born on August 26, 1951, in San Angelo, Texas, to Gordon and Lavonia Robinson.

He was happiest when surrounded by his family. He loved living a simple, quiet life, but then God showed his sense of humor and blessed him with four daughters.

Doug was a man of many talents. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, poker player, trivia buff…and at one time, could tear up the dance floor.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sweetheart, Debbie.

He is survived by his three sisters and his girls, Angela Clark and husband Chuck, Tiffany Robertson and husband Brandon, Ashley Willis and husband Joe, and Nikki Robinson and fiancé Jessie. As well as his precious grandchildren Caleb, Daylee, Courtney, Aubrey, Haylee, Korbyn, Khloe, Jaylee, Kanyn, and great granddaughter, Stevie Mae.

Doug’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hendricks Hospice, specifically to Jason, Robert, and Heather, as well as to Cash Cab and Ben Bailey.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of Doug, memorial donations may be made to Hendrick Hospice, and condolences can be left at meltonkitchens.com.
