BHS Theatre to present ‘The Cover of Life’ on Sunday, May 4

Breckenridge High School Theatre Department will present its 2025 One Act Play, “The Cover of Life” by R.T. Robinson, for the Breckenridge community at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4, in Bailey Auditorium, 500 W. Lindsey St. Admission will be free.
The play tells the story of three women who are married to three brothers, who are off fighting in World War II, and the woman who is assigned to write a cover story about them for Life magazine. The BHS Theatre notes that the play contains mature adult subject matter.

Earlier this month, the troupe performed at the UIL Bi-District One Act Play competition in Clyde and earned awards for Best Crew- Pazley Funderburg and Acting awards – Briley Powers, Shaley Cone and Kyelin Cope.
At the District contest in March at Brownwood, they earned the following awards:
- Pazley Funderburg – Stage Manager Award
- Honorable Mention cast – Briley Powers
- All Star Cast – Shaley Cone and Kyelin Cope
