Joe Fisher
Joe Fisher, 72, of Breckenridge, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Morehart Mortuary with Joe Knust officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
Joe Earl Fisher was born April 7, 1953, in Gorman, Texas, to Jerry Dee Fisher and Mary Nell Anders. Joe served his country in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1974. While he was enlisted, he married Vicky Huffman on February 12, 1972, in Breckenridge. Joe worked for Baker Oil Tools for 27 years and later retired from Complete Packers. Joe was a member of the VFW Post 7767 and Department of Veterans Affairs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Fisher, Nell and Braxton Anders; four siblings, Tony Fisher, Joni Burkhart, Randy Anders and Rickey Fisher.
Joe is survived by his wife of 53 years, Vicky Fisher; his children, Shelly Sharp and Steven Fisher; his sister, Tammy Fisher; three grandchildren, Korrissa Curtis, Destinee Curtis and Dylann Fisher; four great-grandchildren, Zaylea Vinson, Addi Vinson, Preston Harrison and Sophia Harrison.
