Breckenridge High School coaches will offer basketball and volleyball camps in April, May and June. Get the details for the specific camps below.

Lady Bucks Camps

The Breckenridge Lady Bucks will host a series of skills camps for young athletes this spring, offering training in both volleyball and basketball.

The camps will take place at the Breckenridge High School athletic facility (main gym), with sessions divided by grade level. Students in grades K-3 will participate from April 28 through May 1, while those in grades 4-6 will attend from May 5 through May 8. Daily sessions will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The camp costs $30 per sport (two days) or $50 for participation in both volleyball and basketball (four days). Additional children from the same family can register at a reduced rate of $20 per sport or $30 for both sports. Payments should be made to Buckaroo Basketball Camp. Campers will spend the first two days focusing on volleyball and the final two days on basketball. Sessions will be led by coaches and high school players. Students may attend one or both camps, with transportation provided from their schools. Parents may also drop off their children if preferred.

For more information, parents can contact Head Volleyball Coach Latisha Clark at latisha.bartley@breckenridgeisd.org or Head Girls Basketball Coach Sidnee Martinez at sidnee.martinez@breckenridgeisd.org.

Buckaroo Basketball Camp

The Breckenridge High School coaching staff will host the 2025 Buckaroo Basketball Camp from June 9-11 at the BHS Athletic Facility (main gym). The camp is open to students in first through ninth grade (2025-26 school year) and will focus on fundamental basketball skills.

The camp will offer two daily sessions. The morning session, from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m., will be for first through fourth graders. The afternoon session, from 1 to 3 p.m., will be for fifth through ninth graders. Both sessions will be held in the BHS main gymnasium and auxiliary gym.

Campers will receive instruction on ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting techniques, and offensive and defensive skills. Each day will include a shooting competition for layups, jump shots, set shots, and free throws, as well as a “hot shot” contest. The camp will conclude with team competitions.

The cost is $40 per camper, with a discounted rate of $70 for families with two campers. Payments can be made via cash, check, or Venmo. Checks should be made payable to Brent Lucas.

Parents should include the camper’s name, grade for the fall of 2025, and t-shirt size on the entry form; click here to download the form.
