Benny Kilburn, owner of H&H Garden Center, gave an informative program on preparing yards, flower beds and gardens for spring at the Breckenridge Woman’s Forum’s February meeting.

He primarily focused on fertilizing and weed control and explained all the different types of products available and how they should be applied. After providing handouts with an overview of the products and samples of fertilizers, he answered several questions from the audience to address individual concerns and challenges.

Hostesses for the meeting were Kim Fuller, Glenda Knight, Cynthia Hernandez, Sonya Morehart and Jaclyn Morehart.  They decorated with a Valentine theme and provided a wonderful snack table. The meal was catered by MiFamilia.

Donations were taken for the Stephens County Child Welfare Board and will continue through the April meeting.
