Sonia Sikes is the newest vice president at Clear Fork Bank’s Breckenridge location.
She’s worked at the bank formerly known as First National Bank for a combined total of 22 years — from 1996 to 2011 and from 2018 to present. She started as a bank teller and then was a loan secretary and most recently has been in the new accounts department, specifically over IRAs and CDs. She will continue in that role as a vice president.
But, Sikes said she isn’t limited to that department. “We all help each other, because it’s a busy place,” she said.
Sikes has lived in Breckenridge since she was in the third grade, when her family moved here from Angleton. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1988 and started her banking career at another local bank before moving to FNB/Clear Fork.
“I love my job, my customers and my bank family,” she said on Thursday morning.
