No matter how busy the day gets, she never hesitates to jump in and help the team take care of our patients at the bedside, embodying the spirit of compassion and excellence that defines our hospital.”

The “Director of the Year” award is chosen among the SMH senior leadership, based on who they see and exemplify SMH’s core values and leadership.
“Stu is the definition of the kind of employee and director we want at Stephens Memorial,” Speer said. “He has a heart for this community as well as his staff and coworkers. He selflessly gives of himself to ensure things run smoothly and everything and everyone are taken care of. He is always positive and encouraging and is simply a joy to work with.”
