Delana Williams

Delana Williams, age 56, of Breckenridge, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 14, at The Lighthouse Church with Pastor Will Anderson and W.C. Roach officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 13, at Morehart Mortuary.
Delana Elaine Williams was born October 18, 1968, in Pecos, Texas, to parents Larry Williams, Sr. and Patsy Wooten Williams. She graduated high school and joined the workforce, working as a bank teller and in motels and restaurants over the years. Delana later went on to further her education at TSTC, graduating in 2002. She enjoyed decorating, crafting and sewing, often making Christmas stockings for the family. Delana had a servant’s heart and loved helping people and was always taking care of anyone in need. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her dog, Bella. She and her mother would often take road trips or make visits to the nursing home to see her grandma. Those trips would bring them both such joy.
Delana was preceded in death by her father; one sister, Deandra Michelle Williams; and one grandson, Liam Hardy.
Delana is survived by her three children, Glenn Hardy, Portia Phillips, and Shahalie Phillips; her mother, Patsy Williams; two brothers, Larry Williams, Jr. and wife Annie, and Jonathon David Williams; four grandchildren, Aiden Hardy, Xena Thompson, Kaiden Phillips, and Lyanna Cosette Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews.
