Rebecca Hare White was born August 9,1951, in Olney Texas, to Houston and Pauline Hare. Rebecca “Becky” was a CNA serving at both nursing homes and the hospital in Breckenridge for a total of 45 years.
Rebecca enjoyed gardening, collecting things, shopping, her cats, camping, fishing, and spending time with her family she loved so deeply. Rebecca’s love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was endless. She loved her siblings so much and her friends held a dear place to her.
To her children she was known as our precious momma, and to her grandchildren she was known as nanny, both names were held in high esteem because at the end of the day…family was everything. Rebecca was one of the strongest women you could meet. She would do anything for anyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Pauline Hare; sister Freddie Wallace; brother Bobby Hare; and nephew Robert Hare.
Rebecca is survived by brother Jackie Hare; three daughters, Kelley Jones and husband Ken, Dora Norman and husband Shaun, Matilda Shrestha and Garrett and son Lee Davis; and 11 grandchildren, LeAnn, K.C., Justin, Harley, Jesse, Zavyn, Tara, Kody, John, Clay, and Ethan. Rebecca has 11 great-grandchildren Casey, Catie, Hadleigh, Parker, Ember, Rayden, Zaylea, Addi, Liam, Liddie and Ryder.
A gentle touch, a warm embrace,
A mother’s love , a sacred space.
Through laughter, tears , and everyday,
Her love shines bright, it never fades away.
