Jan Lindley

Jan Lindley

Janice Ann Lindley, 78, of Breckenridge, Texas, passed away on January 12, 2025. Janice will have two memorial services, one for her family and friends in Texas at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Real Church in Breckenridge, Texas, and a later one in Missouri with her family located there.

Jan, as we all know her, was born in Eastland County, but moved away from Texas during her life. She loved her cat figurines and had the best Santa collection. Thanksgiving and Christmas were her favorite times of the year.

She attended Hardin-Simmons University, where she received her master’s degree in psychology. She went on to work as a child psychologist with CPS. Jan eventually settled down and had three boys.

Jan has now been reunited with her son James, grandson Aaron, parents Lindsey and Evelyn Clements, and her Dachshund Sammie.

She is survived by her sister Cyndi and her husband; and her sons, Rhett and Douglas Miller, and their wives and children. Her pride and joy over the last couple of years have been getting to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jan’s wishes were to be cremated and to have her ashes entombed in Texas.

Any donations for her celebration of life can be made to Villa Haven Nursing Home, who have taken great care of her over the last five years.
