Kenneth Norman Epperson, 84, of Breckenridge, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024. He had been a resident at Villa Haven Nursing Home for the last few years of his life. His Memorial service at Melton-Kitchens Chapel of Memories will be held on December 20, 2024, beginning at 10 a.m., with JB Sparks officiating.

Kenneth was born on September 6, 1940, in Gatesville, Texas, to parents Ivey J. Epperson and Gertrude Kelly Epperson. Kenneth loved John Wayne, and collected most of his movies, if not all of them. He loved to draw pictures and give them away to anyone who would take one. He also worked for the Street Department for City of Breckenridge in the 1980s and ’90s.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivey and Gertrude Epperson; brother Donald Ivey Epperson, and sister-in-law Dixie Morie Epperson.

He is survived by his nephew, Donny Epperson; niece, Linda Venekamp, and her husband, Joey; three great-nieces, Rachel Buse and husband Kyle, Amanda Epperson, Kaitlyn Carmicheal, and husband Mike; and one great-nephew, Eric Venekamp, and fiancée Emma Cyrus; one great-great-niece, Kiersten Buse; and two great-great-nephews, Landon Buse and Declin Coapland.
