Pam Taylor

Pam Taylor, age 71, of Albany, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 7, at 10 a.m. at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Andy Rodgers and Kevin Flournoy officiating. Interment will follow in the Caddo Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, October 6, at Morehart Mortuary.
Pamela Ann Taylor was born November 28, 1952, in Breckenridge, Texas, to parents, Charles Ray Taylor and Naomi Claudine Truesdell. She graduated from Breckenridge High School. Pam was hardworking, strong and independent. Throughout the years she worked many jobs, including housekeeping at ranches, Breck Operating, Black Foot Mechanic, as a bartender at Plains Bar, as well as a clerk at the grocery store. Most recently, she worked for TDCJ at the Robertson Unit for 16 years before her retirement. Following her retirement, she worked for Roxi Lee as a spa coordinator at SunSpot and Therapy. Pam enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, and swimming. She also liked being outdoors, camping, riding horses and going dancing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and taking care of everyone. She was a great mom, granny and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Naomi Taylor; and one brother, Ricky Taylor.
Pam is survived by her children, Stacy Flournoy and husband Kevin of Breckenridge, and Clayton Hale and wife Leslie of Hugo, Colorado; three siblings, Buzz Taylor and wife Kathy, Kay Stone and husband Barry, and Tevian Taylor and husband Mitchell; six grandchildren, Catherine Hale, Griffin Flournoy and wife Claudia, Ethan Flournoy, Caryn Hale, Stetson Patton, and Clint Hale; one great-grandson, Declan Waite; and numerous nieces and nephews.
