Billie Moreace (Moore) Clark, age 83, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Born June 2, 1941, Billie grew up in Seagraves, Texas, where she attended school and later met the love of her life, Harley Carl Clark. They were married on August 11, 1957, and moved to Breckenridge in 1969, where they raised their family.

Billie had a strong Christian faith, deep love for her family, and was a force of nature. Her children were in awe of her energy and work ethic, admiring her tenacity and grit. Her smile lit up the room, and she loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She was known for always lending a helping hand to friends and neighbors and loved gardening and the outdoors. She was an astute businesswoman, having been self-employed for many years and also managing Woodland Village and Breckenridge Manor apartments.

Billie’s favorite scripture passage was Ecclesiastes Chapter Three, and she gratefully claimed these words in times of hardship and joy.

Billie is survived by her three children, Rhonda Clark Bradford and husband Larry of Breckenridge, Harley Dowe Clark and wife Amie of Breckenridge, and Dane Clark and wife Cindy of Abilene; eight grandchildren, Tori Baisch and husband Jason, Lara Townson and husband Chad, Dustin Clark and wife Megan, Kyndal Clark and wife Haley, Trent Clark and wife Autumn, Hannah Wiginton and husband Josh, Naomi McDaniel, and Cy Clark and wife Tammy; and 18 great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Noah Baisch, Sayler and Maylea Townson, Helen, Dowe and Alice Clark, Kynley, Karolyne and Kypton Clark, Jude Clark, Blaze and Macy Wiginton, Elliya Clark, Milena McDaniel, Oakley, Ryker and Jade Clark. She is also survived by her loving sister, Jean Yocum; sister-in-law, Gerry Aldridge; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Carl Clark; her parents, Jack and Ethel Moore; sisters, Jackie Blair and Era Nell Moore; and brother, Johnny Wayne Moore.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Morehart Mortuary beginning at 10:00 a.m., with Mark Wilcox officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Grandsons will be pallbearers and memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
