Stephens Co. UPRA Rodeo scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 12-13
The Stephens County Rodeo Association will host a UPRA Rodeo on Friday and Saturday, July 12-13, at the Stephens County Arena, on County Road 245, just east of Breckenridge.
The United Professional Rodeo Association event will begin with a grand entry at 7:30 p.m. each night and will include bareback, saddle bronc, ranch bronc, bull riding, calf roping, breakaway, team roping and barrel racing. Between events, there will also be a calf scramble for kids in two categories – age 9 and under, and age 12 and under. Entry in the calf scramble will be free, and there will be a $50 prize for the winners.
Tickets to the rodeo will cost $10 per day per attendee or $15 for two-night tickets. Tickets will be sold at the gate.
After Saturday night’s rodeo, three local musical artists – Kyle Fambro, Finis Smith and Jared McLane – will perform.
