Karen Saiz-Roman
On Saturday, May 4, 2024, Karen Margaret Roman, 46, of Breckenridge, went home to be with our Lord. Her memorial service will be held at Melton-Kitchens Chapel of Memories on Saturday, May 11, beginning at 11 a.m., with JB Sparks officiating.
Karen was born on October 6, 1977, in Hondo, Texas, to the parentage of Claudio S. Roman and Ruth Ann Wright. Karen moved to Breckenridge in 2013, where she remained until her death.
Karen was always kindhearted and gave the best advice to anyone who needed it. In her spare time, Karen’s favorite things were dancing, going out with friends, family get-togethers, fishing, and most of all, having her grandbabies to run around with and have the best dance parties with them.
Karen worked at Walmart for 24 years, where she built numerous friendships. She always had a smile on her face and a contagious laugh.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claudio S. Roman. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Ann Wright, of Temple, and her husband Anthony; brothers Daniel Roman of Troy, Christopher Wright of Gatesville, and Jason Wright of Temple; and sisters Ivy Cooper of Tennessee and husband Lee and Jeena Welcelean of Florida.
She will forever be remembered by her children, Jesse R. Lopez of Breckenridge and wife Chelsey, Aaron Lopez of Breckenridge and Mia Lopez of Breckenridge, and husband Nicholas Hernandez. Additionally, she will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Lillie, Acein Kyrie, Billie, EmerieRose, Jameson, Evalena, Calob, Isaac, Malaki, and Trent.
All whom she loved dearly and spoiled more than anything.
