Carnival to open at 1 p.m. today, April 21, for final day of fun
Saturday’s rains temporarily closed the carnival that’s in town, but according to the Pride of Texas Shows’ Facebook page, the “Boomtown Bonanza Carnival” is scheduled to reopen at 1 p.m. today, Sunday, April 21, and will be open until 6 p.m. This is the last day the carnival will be in town.
On Friday night, the Breckenridge Texan’s Tony Pilkington visited the carnival and took some colorful pictures of all the fun going on. Click here to see the Photo Gallery from the carnival.
The 18-ride carnival is set up in the three acres between Higginbotham Bartlett and the Dollar Tree/Tractor Supply shopping center, behind McDonald’s. Businesses in the area will allow parking in their lots for those attending the carnival, Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Yuri Huntington said.
The carnival includes rides, midway games and concessions. Tickets and wristbands for the rides are sold at the carnival.
