Leotta Martin, age 90, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Per her wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Doris Leotta Hankins was born January 6, 1934, in Cisco, Texas, to JY Hankins and Maude May Chapman. She graduated from Breckenridge High School and was a member of the class of 1952. After graduation, she attended the University of Houston for two years. Leotta worked as a secretary and in 1990 moved to Breckenridge. Once she moved to Breckenridge, she began working at Stephens Memorial Hospital. She worked various positions over the many years she worked there, including office manager. Leotta was a member at the First Presbyterian Church and of The Woman’s Forum. She was very active in her church and the community. For 25 years, she served as the Meals on Wheels treasurer. In her spare time, she loved playing bridge and doing embroidery and crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Barbara Vincent; three sons, Martin Ener, Aaron Ener, Stephen Ener; and one son-in-law, Ronald Merritt Patterson.

Leotta is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Ener Patterson; four grandchildren, Cristina Garcia, Nicole Ener, Holly Patterson, Sheila Morrow; and five great-grandchildren, DeMarcus Johnson, Yasmine Johnson, Jada Johnson, Devon Morrow and Zachary Carr.
