Jack B. Kimbler Jr., 74, of Breckenridge, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2024, in Abilene, Texas. A private family gathering will be held. His burial will be held in Monahans, Texas, at a later date.

Jack was born in Monahans on April 30, 1949, to Jack B. Sr. and Imogene (Bennett) Kimbler. He graduated from Monahans High School. In 1975, Jack moved to Carthage, Texas. And in 2012, Jack made a final move to Breckenridge.

Jack worked for Texas Utilities Generating Company for 39 years. After retirement, he was active in the Breckenridge Elks Lodge due to his love and passion for charitable work that focused on youth and veterans. Much of his time was spent volunteering for community benefits and fundraisers. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and going to the casino.

Jack’s ultimate pride and joy were his 11 grandchildren, Brandy, Ashly, Josh, Annissa, Courtney, Justin, Siera, Jason, Dylan, Hunter, Hadley, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; parents, Jack and Imogene; and son, Christopher.

Jack is survived by his loving partner of 12 years, Sue Ringener of Breckenridge; daughters, Tracy Scott and husband Michael, and Paula Yeager and husband Kelsey, all of whom reside in Rogers, Arkansas; and stepchildren, David Dalby of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Jeanie Albers and husband John of Carthage, Texas.

Memorial donations in Jack’s name can be made to the Breckenridge Elks Lodge, American Heart Association, Camp Valor Outdoors (Veterans), or a charity or organization of the donor’s choice and can be left at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
