Roy Boggs
Roy Boggs, 67, of Breckenridge, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 2, at Hart Cemetery with Rev. Rex Boggs officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 1, at Morehart Mortuary.
Roy James Boggs was born June 11, 1956, in Monahans, Texas. Roy worked in the oil field for several years and in 1996 obtained his CDL and began trucking. After 10 years together, he married Crystal Roberts at Lake Somerville on July 14, 2007. Roy loved playing guitar with Art Crudgington at local nursing homes and community centers. He loved talking to people about Jesus and never met a stranger. Roy loved family cookouts, fishing with his boys, and his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings, Presley Wilson, Angie Porteous, Lloyd Tillery, Candy Wilson, Kathy Wilson, Judy Boggs.
Roy is survived by his wife and love of his life, Crystal Boggs of Breckenridge; seven children, Shanee Boggs, Steele Boggs and wife Kara, Bolton Boggs and fiancé Keyleigh, Colton Boggs, Chance Swan, Blake Swan and wife Annie, Kathryn Pittman; nine siblings, Sharon Wilson, Robert Wilson, Johnny Johnson, Michael Harris, Larry Harris, Helen Wilson, Vivian Edgar, Emma Soto, Clifton Wilson; 19 grandchildren, Jalie, Kynlie, Carlee, Preston, Presley, Lindsey, Jason, Trey, River, Bailey, Joscelynn, Brandon, Christopher, BreAwna, Alli, Ashton, Ashley, Jerreca, Jesseca and numerous nieces and nephews.
