Don Gray
Don Gray, 89, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2024, surrounded by his family. A private family service will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in Cookeville. His graveside service, under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home, will be held at Necessity Cemetery on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., with Don Nelson officiating.
Don was born on August 6, 1934, in Eliasville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, George Gray; mother, Wilie Gray; brother, Fred Gray; and daughter, Lisa Gray.
Don leaves behind his loving wife of seventy years, Gerry Gray; daughter, Cindy Phillips; son, Rob Gray; sisters, Bessie Walters and Jessie McCullough; grandchildren, Chassidy, Parker, Emily, and Hunter; and great-grandchildren, Lisa, Bethany, Sara, Reagan, Emmerson, Jack, and Lyndon Kate.
