Jim Cottle, Sr.
Jim Cottle, Sr., age 72, of Moran, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary, and no services are planned for now.
Jim Ed Cottle was born January 26, 1951, in Abilene, Texas, to James Morris Cottle and Julie Ann Thomas Cottle. He graduated high school and enlisted in the United States Air Force until his honorable discharge in 1972. Jim enjoyed fishing and being in the mountains. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jim is survived by his two sons, Jim Cottle, Jr. of Albany, and Jeremiah Cottle of Knoxville, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Joshua Thomas Cottle, Jordan Elyse Cottle, James Cottle III, Jeremiah Benjamin Cottle, Jr., Julianna Cottle, and Jaylen Cottle; and two sisters, Judy Stovall of San Angelo and Jana Keeter of Olney.
