Barbecue lunch plates to raise funds for family of Ashley Kilburn

20:06 2023

A barbecue lunch plate fundraiser benefiting the family of Ashley Kilburn, who passed away Monday morning, will be held next week.

Mark Pugh will be cooking brisket, and the plates will include sliced brisket, red beans, potato salad and all the fixings (onion, pepper, pickles, roll and barbecue sauce). The plates will cost $12 each and will be available for delivery or pickup on Tuesday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jenny Coffee State Farm Office, 1818 W. Walker St. in Breckenridge. The funds will be donated to Ashley’s family to help them with expenses.

To order, leave a comment on the Facebook post for the fundraiser (click here). Mark and Tisha Pugh are asking anyone who would like to buy a barbecue plate to pre-order, so that they can be sure to have enough food. When you order (by commenting on the Facebook post), indicate if you want to pick up your meal or need it to be delivered; also, indicate if you can send the funds via Venmo (to @Tish-Pugh) or will be paying cash when your plate is picked up or delivered.

There also is a Meal Train set up for volunteers who would like to provide a meal for the family. Click here to sign up to take a meal to Ashley’s family.

Additionally, memorial donations in Ashley’s name may be left at Morehart Mortuary for the family.
