Ashley Kilburn, age 39, of Breckenridge, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023. A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 19, at Morehart Mortuary, where friends can come and go and share memories. Services have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Ashley Jean Kilburn was born January 10, 1984, in Abilene, Texas, to George D. Sitton III and Patricia Jean Hayworth. She attended school in Breckenridge and graduated from Breckenridge High School in 2002. Ashley then went on to earn her Associates Degree in Graphic Design from TSTC in 2004 and was working towards a degree in Software and Business Management. Over the years, she worked at several newspapers and radio stations, including the Midland Reporter News, Breckenridge American, and K-Lakes 93.5. She previously hosted a Sunday morning radio show on K-Lakes and was set to help Charlie Parker with the sports broadcast this football season. In April of 2023, Ashley started working in billing and customer service at Jenny Coffee State Farm. She was dearly loved by her State Farm family. Ashley loved her friends and family, especially her son, Jayden. He was the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, LCDR (Ret.), Navy, George Sitton III; her grandfather, Mark Hayworth; and one uncle, Mike Hayworth.

Ashley is survived by her 10-year-old son, Jayden Rosemann; her parents, Patti and Billy Reid of Breckenridge; one brother, Adam Hayworth of Savannah, Georgia; grandmother, Jean Hayworth of Breckenridge; uncle and aunt, Marc “Skip” and Donna Hayworth of Round Rock; and many cousins.
