Danny Ray Aragon
Danny Ray Aragon, age 66, of Breckenridge, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
Danny Ray Aragon was born January 5, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois. He worked as a hairdresser for most of his life, starting his business in California and working all over the country in places like Washington, Las Vegas and Utah. Danny Ray moved to Breckenridge in 2020 to be closer to his son. He lived on the lake and loved fishing and being outdoors. In his spare time, Danny enjoyed playing guitar, writing his own music and listening to The Eagles and music in general. He had dreamed of opening a local guitar shop in Breckenridge. Danny Ray was a Native American descendent and appreciated his Shoshone tribe heritage. His Native American name was Fire Eagle.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diana Jean Pranz; his stepfather, Ray Paul Aragon; and one brother, Johnny Aragon.
He is survived his son, Dane Aragon and wife Erika of Fort Worth; three brothers, Jimmy Aragon, Raymond Aragon and Greg Yedding; his beloved and loyal black lab, Buddy; his father, Ray Yedding; many loving nieces and nephews; his childhood friend/brother, Mark Klink; and loving friends and neighbors, John Dembecki, and Paul and Darlene.
