SMH to celebrate National Hospital Week with cookout
Stephens Memorial Hospital will celebrate National Hospital Week with a cookout for the public on Friday, May 12.
The hospital will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers free to the public from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday on the front lawn of the hospital, 200 S. Geneva St.
Additionally, at 9:30 Friday morning, they will have the Blessing of the Hands ceremony on the helipad.
An added bonus to this year’s celebration will be a Dunk-a-Director contest for hospital staff to raise money for the Senior Meal program. Hospital staff members can pay to dunk any director they choose in the dunking booth.
