Billy Yarbrough
Billy Yarbrough, 73, of Breckenridge, passed away at his residence surrounded by family on Monday, April 3, 2023. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held in the Melton-Kitchens Chapel of Memories on Saturday, May 13, 2023, and will begin at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Juan Martinez of Get Wrapped Church in Houston, Texas, will officiate the service.
Billy Ward Yarbrough was born on January 24, 1950, to Jake Yarbrough and Juanita Parker Yarbrough. He graduated high school in Denver City, Texas. On April 4, 1980, Billy married his soulmate, Vinnie Brooks Yarbrough. Billy loved his family dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Juanita Yarbrough, his sister, Melinda Ruth Phipps, and his nephew, Thomas Phipps.
Billy is survived by his wife, Vinnie Yarbrough of Breckenridge, Texas; four children, Paige Thompson of Westcliffe, Colorado, Erica Sherwood and husband Jef of Austin, Texas, Jason Yarbrough of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Nathan Yarbrough of Chandler, Oklahoma; as well as four grandchildren, Nocona Swindell, Kutter Swindell, Tana Thompson and Dax Sherwood. He is also survived by his favorite brother-in-law, Danny Phipps, and his best friend from childhood, Jim McKee, along with numerous other nieces and nephews.
