Dawayne V. Goswick
Dawayne Van “Wayne” Goswick, 58, of Breckenridge, passed away at his residence on Friday, April 14, 2023. A memorial service celebrating his life will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at the Breckenridge City Park. He will be laid to rest in his family cemetery in Dermott, Texas.
Wayne Goswick was born on January 30, 1965, to Van Goswick and Frances Stone. Wayne grew up living in and around Snyder, Texas. He graduated from Snyder High School in 1984 and worked in the oilfield all his life.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Van and Frances, and brother, Rodney Goswick. He is survived by his son, Devin Goswick, and his granddaughter, Leah Goswick, both of Abilene, Texas, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Wayne’s name can be made to the American Diabetes Association and can be left at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home. Condolences can be made online at meltonkitchens.com.
