Esperanza DeZubieta
Esperanza DeZubieta, age 61, of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 31, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Dias officiating. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at Morehart Mortuary.
Esperanza Padron was born February 1, 1962, in Rio Verde, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to parents Manuel Padron Cerna and Maria Consuelo Loredo Arredondo. On March 23, 1992, Esperanza married Pablo Torres Zubieta in Mexico. She worked as a cook for several years. Esperanza was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She had a passion for working, cooking for her loved ones, family and friends. She enjoyed music and watching tv and novelas in her free time and trips to the Gulf with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters.
Esperanza is survived by her children, Luis Zubieta, Alma Zubieta, Dulce Zubieta, Juan Zubieta, and Emmanuel Zubieta, all of Breckenridge; one granddaughter Natalie Bernal; nine brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
