Gary Wadzeck, co-owner and pitmaster for V-Dubb’s Smokhouse, was joined Friday evening by family, friends and community members for the the barbecue food truck’s Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony.
The V-Dubb’s Smokehouse food truck is located in the Tractor Supply parking lot, 3732 W. Walker St., and Wadzeck said he intends to have V-Dubb’s at that location until he gets a brick-and-mortar restaurant. The food truck is open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
The menu includes barbecue sandwiches and plates with a choice of brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chicken and sausage. Sides include smoked mac and cheese, beans, potato salad and cole slaw. V-Dubb’s specialties include a “BBQ Parfait” and loaded mac and cheese. The barbecue meat is also available by the pound. The menu and specials are featured on the V-Dubb’s Facebook page.
“We’re thankful to be where we’re at,” said Wadzeck, who has partnered with Brandon and Michael Vandygriff on the food truck. “We are thankful for all the support.”
