Woman’s Forum draws names of trip winners in fundraiser
Several board members of the Breckenridge Woman’s Forum gathered on Valentine’s Day to draw the winners of their recent fundraiser.
The organization kicked off the fundraiser at the downtown Mingle & Jingle event in November, and by Tuesday, Feb. 14, they had a basketful of entries.
Mary Edwards drew Anna Easter’s name for the four-night stay in Ruidoso, New Mexico, and Mary Griffin drew Jackson Morehart’s name for the four-night stay in Branson, Missouri.
The Woman’s Forum will use the money raised through the ticket sales for their annual scholarship, as well as for a variety of projects the organization has going on, said Woman’s Forum President Kim Walker.
