Patricia Roberts, 80, of Breckenridge, passed away at Hendrick Hospice in Abilene on Monday, January 23, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Her family will be holding a private memorial service.

Patricia Kay Roberts was born on September 8, 1942, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Leo and Ida Mae Pennington. She graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1960. Shortly after that, on February 12, 1961, she married Louie Wayne Roberts. The couple had three children. She was a homemaker for many years but later went to college and became a paraprofessional at Lindbergh Elementary, a career she held for 30 years until her retirement.

Patricia loved going to church and was a member of Springdale Baptist Church in Tulsa until moving back to Breckenridge. She then began attending New Life Restoration Church. She loved to crochet as well as cook for her family and spend time with them.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Ida Mae Pennington; husband, Louie Wayne Roberts; sisters, Doris Skaggs and Juanita Frew; brothers, Leo Pennington and Johnny Robertson.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Roberts of Tulsa; daughters, Tammy Freeman and husband James of Cross Plains, and Crystal Boggs and husband Roy of Breckenridge; grandchildren, Ronnie Roberts, Jamie Briseno, Tonda Freeman and fiancé Ray, Chance Swan, Blake Swan, Bolton Boggs and fiancé Keyleigh, and Colton Boggs; great-grandchildren, MaKenzye, Addison, Jordan, Rian and Jameson, RayLyn and Trevor, Trey, Bailey, and River.

Memorial donations in Patricia’s name can be made to a charity or organization of the donor’s choice and can be left at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home. Condolences can be made online at meltonkitchens.com.
