Cynthia Boyd, 54, of Breckenridge, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Her memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, in the Melton-Kitchens Chapel of Memories, with JB Sparks officiating.

Cynthia Lynn Boyd was born on October 23, 1968. She was the daughter of James Columbus “JC” and Betty Ruth Boyd.

What can we say about our Momma? Whether it was talking over a cup of coffee in the morning or an “I love you over the phone,” she always made sure to be there for her family and to let them know she cared.

She could even be found chasing her grandkids around just to hear them laugh or to see them smile. Our family has overcome many obstacles together, and she has always been there in any way she could… even if it was just to lend an ear. To anyone and everyone who has called, texted, messaged, visited, or just kept our family in your prayers, thank you for showing us what she meant to you.

Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Jessica Reatherford and husband Kagan, and Jennifer Matthews and husband Issac; son, Randy Lee Koger Jr.; and grandchildren, Samantha Beltran, Alyssa Contreras, Alex Contreras, Marlee Koger, and Marcus Koger. She is also survived by her siblings, Rhonda Reed and husband Andie, Eva Power, Michelle Scott and husband Todd, Sherri Edwards, Tammy Boyd-Dixon, James Brunson, Terry Jackson, Tommy Boyd, Sue Boyd, Tessa Boyd, Trisha Boyd, Gary Boyd, and Craig Boyd; along with a large group of friends and loved ones who will miss her dearly.

Memorial donations in Cynthia’s name can be made to a charity or organization of the donor’s choice and can be left at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home. Condolences can be made online at meltonkitchens.com.
