Tony Fade, age 66 of Albany, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, at Friendship Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Johnston officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Tony Ray Fade was born January 21, 1956, in Albany, Texas, to John Washington Fade and Ilene Baker Fade. He attended schools in Albany and graduated from Albany High School. Tony met Tammy Brown fifteen years ago and the two enjoyed life together. They enjoyed taking road trips together on their Harley Davidson. Tony worked as a welder and truck driver for many years. He had a green thumb and could grow almost anything. Tony was an avid rodeo fan and enjoyed playing golf. And while he was a man of few words, he was known as the historian of the Fade family.

He was preceded in death his parents; one sister, Wanda Waters; and his wife, Tammy Brown.

Tony is survived by two children, Clayton Fade of Dublin and Sierra Fade of Breckenridge; one brother, Sammy Fade and wife Connie; and five grandchildren, Montana Fade, Savannah Fade, Noah Jameson, Jarrett Wayne Fade and ShyAnn Wickson.
