Murder Mystery Dinner provides entertainment, raises funds for Woman’s Forum
The Breckenridge Woman’s Forum had a packed house for the Murder Mystery Dinner fundraiser — “Lights, Camera, Murder!” — held on Oct. 13.
The Albany Mainstreet Playhouse cast interacted with ticket holders during the cocktail hour and silent auction review. Before the meal was served, officers from Breckenridge Police Department burst into the room and announced that there had been a murder in the parking lot and the building was on “lock-down” until the killer was found. But, it was all part of the show.
While enjoying a their meal, the attendees, sitting at tables labeled as famous murder mystery movies, took notes and listed clues they’d picked up on, guessing who they thought committed the murder and why. The guests found the responses to be hilarious, and the winners were those sitting at the “Charade” table.
Door prizes were awarded throughout the evening, and the night ended with the announcement of the silent auction winners. Pictures below are from the night of the event and include some of the guests, the cast interaction with the guests, the police lock-down and the winning table. Elle Jackson was the photographer for the event.
