Jennifer Renae Horton
June 30
10:30 2022

On Sunday, June 26, 2022, Jennifer Renae Horton (47) of Breckenridge, Texas, joined her Savior in Paradise. She was preceded in death by her father, John Benjamin Reynolds, brother, John Reynolds, sister, Johnnie Brown, and brother-in-law, Pete Brown. She is survived by her mother, Ina Reynolds of Breckenridge; brother, Billy Reynolds of Breckenridge; and sisters Cathy Benson of Seymour, Linda Kay Reynolds of Breckenridge, Betty Reynolds of Fort Worth, and Diane Baxter of Knox City. She will forever be remembered by her sons, Jonathon Reynolds of Fort Worth and wife Rebeca, Nickelos Reynolds of Breckenridge and fiancé Teressa, Jacob Horton of Breckenridge, Anthony Horton of Breckenridge, and Adam Horton of Brownwood and wife Ysabell. Additionally, she will be missed by her grandchildren, Tristan, Zane, Russell, and Acein – all of whom she loved to spoil more than anything.

Jennifer was one of the most outgoing, outspoken, and true-to-herself people you could ever meet. She loved her family fiercely and would do anything within her power to make sure they were well taken care of – she always put them before herself. Her devotion to her family was most on display when she was able to be “LaLa” to her grandchildren; she would have found a way to lasso the moon for them if they wanted it. She loved being a grandparent and often spoke of the experience as her favorite thing.

To her work friends, she was Jen – the girl who cracked jokes, always worked to help others, and couldn’t wait to get off to enjoy a round with them and share more smiles. She genuinely enjoyed her time at Jonell and all the memories she made there. She tried to be friends with everyone, and the highlight of her day was when she could share a good laugh during break time. Laughing was her favorite pastime.

Jennifer’s funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022, in the Chapel of Memories at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home. After her interment at the Wayland Cemetery, a small reception will be held at the St. Paul Methodist Church. Her family will welcome friends for a visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jennifer’s name can be made to Café Love and can be left at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home. Condolences can be made online at meltonkitchens.com.
