John Sternadel, 42, of Breckenridge, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Breckenridge. A memorial service commemorating his life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in the Melton-Kitchens Chapel of Memories.

John Thomas Sternadel was born on September 8, 1979, in Breckenridge, Texas, by Dr. Ford, whom John was named after. He was a 1998 graduate from Breckenridge High School. John was a loving father, brother, son, and uncle. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan as well as a fan of every sport involving the University of Texas. When the weather was cooperating, you could find John outdoors. He loved to travel, especially in his home state of Texas. He was great at setting goals and meeting them with great determination. John was an active supporter of the Rise Discipleship in Abilene, Texas. John attended The Lighthouse Church in Breckenridge.

John is survived by his parents, Robert and Joetta Wilkinson and Judy Wilkinson and Pilar Quiroz Sr., all of Breckenridge; his two sons, Matthew Sternadel of Breckenridge and Kameron Sternadel of Aubrey, Texas; one daughter, Kaylee Sternadel of Breckenridge; two sisters, Christina Burkett of Brownwood, Texas, and Mary Jenkins and husband Freddie of Corbin, Kentucky; four brothers, Richard Wilkinson and fiancé Gneta Lynch of Graham, Texas, Ricky Nelson and wife Chasity of Breckenridge, Bobby Sternadel and wife Angel of Breckenridge, and Jimmy Sternadel of Amarillo, Texas; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousin who loved him dearly.
