Jonell Filtration in Breckenridge held its first Easter Basket Contest for its employees on Monday, April 11.

Recycled scrap materials from the plant were used in making the baskets and displays.

“We at Jonell have some pretty amazing and creative folks that work here,” said Human Resources Manager Michelle Funderburg. “I am proud to be a part of such an amazing and talented team.”

All of the baskets will be donated to the local daycare centers for the children to enjoy.

The first place winners get bragging rights and will be provided lunch by Jonell, Funderburg said.

The top three Easter baskets were:

  • First place — Fiberglass Department
  • Second place — Carbon Department
  • Third place — Sewing Department

“I am so proud of everyone that participated,” Funderburg said. “They all did an amazing job.”
