From Frankenstein and Dracula to kings and queens, the Breckenridge Fine Arts Center’s current exhibit, “The Amazing World of Puppets,” features all sorts of characters from Peeler-Rose Productions. And, the puppetmasters themselves, Dan Peeler and Charlie Rose, will be in town on Saturday, April 16, for a special children’s show.

The puppet show is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at the BFAC, 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. Admission will be free.

The show will include some audience participation, handouts, and a few facts about the Amazing World of Puppets, Peeler said on the BFAC Facebook page.

The puppet exhibit, which will wrap up on Saturday, features more than 200 puppets created by Peeler and Rose over their long careers in design and production. Click here to see some pictures of Peeler and Rose setting up the exhibit in February.

The BFAC is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. The fine arts center is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
