Clayton Ross Glick passed away in his sleep on April 6, 2022. There will be a memorial celebration of life service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at First United Methodist Church of Breckenridge.

Clayton was born on April 19, 1990, to Gary and Julia Glick at Gulf Coast Medical Center Hospital in Wharton, Texas. Clayton excelled in childhood milestones due to having two older sisters to catch up with, Cassie and Maegen. He grew up in both Breckenridge and El Campo, Texas, where he attended school and played sports.

With this quick learning mindset, he grew to master many trades. He worked at Raydon, J&J Electric and Bird Electric. He spent his young life working until he met Baley Brown, and was blessed with a son, Brayden, in 2010.

Clayton was studying electrical engineering at TSTC in Fort Bend, Texas, where he maintained a 4.0. He had recently been accepted to Blinn College with a full ride scholarship this fall. He was scheduling summer courses with Blinn while waiting to hear back on his application to Texas A&M for an Electrical Engineering Academy — which was a joint venture between Blinn and A&M.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie Ross Glick, Ada Glick, Floyd Scheffer, and Travis and Patricia Bennett; and great-grandparents, Lillie Carlisle, and A.P. and Alice Sommers.

Clayton is survived by his son, Brayden Ross Miller of Breckenridge; parents, Gary and Roxzann Glick of Breckenridge and Julia and Travis Bennett of El Campo; sisters, Cassie and Kyle Lewis of Katy, Maegen Chaudry of Katy and Elyssa Glick of Breckenridge; brother, Jacob and Shailynn Glick of Breckenridge; niece Ava of Breckenridge; nephews, Preston Glick of Katy and Solar Glick of Breckenridge; girlfriend Sierra Acuna and her sons of El Campo; grandparents, Martha Rosalie Scheffer of Breckenridge, and Frank and LaNell O’Connor of El Campo; as well as many friends and family.

Clayton will be missed by many.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Triska Funeral Home in El Campo. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 14, at First United Methodist Church in El Campo. Pallbearers will be Jacob Glick, Kyle Lewis, Travis Bennett, Preston Glick, Nathan Bennett and Derek Treybig.
