Donna Kay McCullough was born October 10, 1944, in Breckenridge, Texas, to Leroy McCullough and Mildred Darlene Reed McCullough. On December 7, 1963, she married Robert Irwin “Bobby” Pardee in Breckenridge. They enjoyed 47 years of marriage, making countless memories with their children and grandchildren.

Donna’s legacy is that of love and encouragement to all who came across her path, and her children and grandchildren remember that she read her Bible each morning while having her coffee. Her faith in Jesus Christ sustained her and was the source of her strength every single day. A beloved children’s Sunday School teacher for almost 50 years, she taught several generations of families and shared her love of the Lord. It was her life’s goal that others would have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Her family was dear to her and she loved spending time with all of her children and grandchildren. Her hobby of scrapbooking was focused on creating memory books for each of her grandchildren, which she gifted to them in recent years. She also loved gardening and always had a beautiful pot of red geraniums near her door to welcome family and friends.

Donna was a licensed insurance agent and worked for many years at Blake Johnson Insurance Company, until her retirement in 2010. She was a member at Bethany Baptist Church and a Pink Lady for the Ladies Auxiliary of Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a brother, Jimmy McCullough. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Clark and husband Dane of Abilene, Kelly Guice and husband Jeff of Weatherford, Bobette Moss and husband Brad of Breckenridge, and Tanya Wilcox and husband Mark of Breckenridge; two brothers, Jerry McCullough and wife Mildred of Cleburne, and Lannie McCullough and wife Janie of Bryan College Station; eleven grandchildren, Hannah Wiginton and husband Josh, Naomi McDaniel, Cy Clark and wife Tammy, Kayla Guice, Tessa Guice, Allie Guice, Kali Cozart and husband Wade, Brooke Bowman and husband JT, Kelsey Komechak and husband Russel, Shelby Wilcox, Nathan Wilcox and wife Bailey; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Vaneta McCullough and Gail Glazener; brother-in-law, Paul Humphreys; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her greatly.

Memorials may be made to the Stephens Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary or Bethany Baptist Church and may be left at Morehart Mortuary. Condolences may be made online at www.morehartmortuary.net.
