Brendin Kenneth-Ray Granado, age 19, of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 18, at New Destination Church with Shane Woolsey officiating. A public meal will be provided from 12-1 p.m. at the church. Following the service at 4 p.m., there will be a balloon release in Brendin’s memory at the Breckenridge Skate Park. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Brendin Kenneth-Ray Granado was born March 21, 2002, in Roswell, New Mexico, to parents MichaelRay Jude Granado and Crystal NolaJane Meeks. He attended New Destination Church, where he was baptized. Brendin loved to skate and teach the smaller children in his community how to do it right. He helped build the skate park through the AG program in high school. More of his pastimes included gaming, especially Call of Duty. Brendin worked with his dad for 3 years constructing metal buildings. Brendin was dearly loved and will be missed like no other.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Savino Granado, Edward Meeks, Lee Greathouse; one brother, Christian Granado; one uncle, Randall Price; and one cousin, Faith Meeks.

Brendin is survived by his parents, Michael Granado and wife Lea Jayne, Crystal Summers-Callaway and husband Matt; his fiancé, Zoey Danner and their unborn daughter; four sisters, Amber, Anna, Stacie-Raye, Elisabeth; one brother, Levi; grandmothers, Brenda Greathouse, Kathy Bell, Sandra McDaniel; grandfather, Elmer Smith and wife Rebecca; great-grandparents, Sharon and Joe Bell; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Bogard, Bobby Boggs, Tristan Stoker, Nick Stotts, Jacob Long, Michael Meeks and Daniel West.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and may be left at Morehart Mortuary. Condolences may be made online at www.morehartmortuary.net.
