The works of five local artists are featured and on display in the Breckenridge Fine Arts Center’s Local Artists’ Winter Exhibit through Jan. 29.

The artists — Leslie Blackerby, Doylene Land, Pat Machen, Julie Reaugh and Bob Swindle — were honored with a reception when the exhibit opened last month.

The exhibit includes paintings, free-form pottery, stained glass and more, and most of the artwork is available for purchase.

The BFAC is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays; it is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Call ahead to double-check the hours during the holiday season. The arts center is located at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. For more information, call 254-559-6602.
