**SERVICE CHANGE: Due to a water line break at the original location, the funeral service has been moved to Gunsight Baptist Church.

Brandi Honea, 35, of Breckenridge, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021. Her funeral service at Gunsight Baptist Church will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021, with Michael Roach officiating. Her interment at the Breckenridge Cemetery will immediately follow the funeral service.

Brandi Michelle Honea was born on July 1, 1986, in Weatherford, Texas, to Hal Honea and Tate Reynolds. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 2006 and then attended TSTC, where she earned an accounting degree. Brandi was a wonderful mother and had a deep love for family. Brandi never expected to be a mother, but having Emma was exactly what she was born for. She lived and breathed to make sure Emma knew she was loved. Emma was Brandi’s world. In her free time, Brandi enjoyed crafting, taking her daughter on adventures, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed organizing, planning events, taking pictures, and bringing awareness to Autism. Brandi was a selfless person that loved helping others.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Katrisha Michelle Honea; uncle, Jackie Honea; grandfather, Bo Wimberley; grandmother, Helen Wimberley; and grandfather, Jackie Honea.

Brandi is survived by her fiancée, Travis Tichenor; daughter, Emma Grace Tichenor; father, Hal Honea and wife Linda of Cisco; mother, Tate Reynolds and husband Billy of Breckenridge; three brothers, Jimmy Honea of Breckenridge, Matt Honea of Breckenridge, and Robert Chaney and wife Felisha of Clyde; sister, Kayla Honea of Breckenridge; fifteen nieces and nephews, Ashton, Rachel, Jayden, Cameron, Charlie, Taylor Mkae, Nate, Channing, Madison, Hayden, Braxton, Owen, Mason, Evan, and Miles; along with numerous aunts and uncles.

Memorial donations can be made to the Brandi Honea Memorial Scholarship Fund and can be left at the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home office. Condolences can be made online at meltonkitchens.com.
