The band Shine is scheduled to come back to Breckenridge to help celebrate Christmas and to say goodbye to 2021 with a concert at the National Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 11.

The bluegrass/country/swing band played here earlier this year, but last year’s Christmas concert was canceled due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

Shine includes four Texas musicians — Marlys Coursey (fiddle, vocals), Glenn Mitchell (mandolin, vocals), Jeff Mitchell (bass, vocals), and Dave Ratliff (guitar, vocals).

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and a meet-the-artist reception will follow the concert. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. A family four-pack (two adults, two kids) can be purchased for $40 — a savings of $10. Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the event, or they may be purchased online for a small fee by clicking here.

The National Theatre is located at 116 E. Walker in downtown Breckenridge. For more information about the theater, click here to visit the Friends of Historic Breckenridge website.
