Angel Tree program to accept applications Nov. 13-14
The local organization All His Children, in conjunction with Toys for Tots, is once again gearing up to offer the Angel Tree program for the holiday season.
Stephens County families in need are invited to fill out an application at Bethany Baptist Church, 1911 W. Walker St., during the following dates and times:
- Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to noon
- Sunday, Nov. 14, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Those signing up are asked to bring proof of residence with them.
Additionally, the organization is accepting donations to help assist the families who sign up for the program. Each year, local residents can choose an angel from the Angel Tree and buy toys, clothing and other gifts for a specific child. All My Children and Toys For Tots provides for those that aren’t selected.
